Job Description:

The Painter is responsible for applying coats of paint, stain, enamel, varnish, or lacquer to decorate and protect all external surfaces of buildings such as trimmings and fixtures. Sanding and removing all paint to smooth and prepare surfaces for fresh coats of paint and other applicable coats.

Responsibilities:

·         Read instructions and examine surfaces to refine the amount of work necessary

·         Make on-site preparations such as building scaffolding, covering fixtures, etc.

·         Fill cracks and holes with proper material

·         Prepare the right color or textures by mixing or buying the correct paint

·         Apply varnish and other finishes

·         Adhere to all health and safety precautions and standards

•         Excelente conocimiento del material de pintura y cómo seleccionarlo, mezclarlo y aplicarlo.

•         Conocimiento sólido de técnicas de pintura comercial y / o de construcción.

•         Habilidad para usar herramientas apropiadas (cepillos, pistolas para calafatear, etc.)

•         Buenas habilidades matemáticas básicas

•         Destreza manual con excelente equilibrio para trabajar en andamios, escaleras, etc.

•         Concienzudo con gran atención a los detalles

Descripción del trabajo:

El Pintor es responsable de aplicar capas de pintura, tinte, esmalte, barniz o laca para decorar y proteger todas las superficies externas de los edificios, como adornos y accesorios. Lijar y quitar toda la pintura para alisar y preparar las superficies para nuevas capas de pintura y otras capas aplicables.

Responsabilidades:

·         Leer las instrucciones y examine las superficies para refinar la cantidad de trabajo necesario

·         Realizar preparativos en el lugar, como construir andamios, cubrir accesorios, etc.

·         Rellenar las grietas y los agujeros con el material adecuado.

·         Preparar el color o las texturas correctos mezclando o comprando la pintura correcta

·         Aplicar barniz y otros acabados

·         Cumplir con todas las precauciones y estándares de salud y seguridad.
