Title: Storeroom Clerk

May be required to use constant hand motions, kneel, walk, reach, bend, stretch or lift up to 20 pounds repetitively
Job Description:
The storeroom clerk fills requisitions from either the beverage storeroom or the food storeroom to bring hotel outlets up to par. The storeroom clerk will also help to receive dry goods from vendors and stocks items within the storeroom.
Responsibilities:
Assist the food buyer and other storeroom clerks in filling requisitions made by hotel outlets some of which are delivered to the kitchen or point of use
Assist in receiving dry products and stocking the items within the storeroom
Assist the food buyer in taking inventory of storeroom in order to make an accurate order of product
Maintain a clean environment in the storeroom
Help other areas of the purchasing department when workload becomes heavy
Weigh all meat and seafood deliveries prior to signing and accepting merchandise
Date and rotate all products received and store in the walk-in cooler, freezer and dry storeroom
Other duties can be assigned.

Descripción del trabajo:
El asistente de almacén debe poder cumplir con los requisitos y pedidos del departamento de comidas y bebidas, sabiendo identificar cuales pertenecen a su respectivo almacén. También debe ayudar a recibir los pedidos de alimentos y bebidas y poder organizarlos.
Responsabilidades:
Ayudar a completar los pedidos realizados por los establecimientos del hotel, algunos de los cuales se entregan en la cocina o en el punto de uso.
Ayudar a recibir productos secos y almacenar los artículos dentro del almacén
Ayudar al comprador de alimentos a hacer un inventario del almacén para hacer un pedido preciso del producto.
Mantener un ambiente limpio en el almacén.
Ayudar a otras áreas del departamento de compras cuando la carga de trabajo se vuelve pesada
Pesar todas las entregas de carnes y mariscos antes de firmar y aceptar la mercancía
Fechar y rotar todos los productos recibidos y guardarlos en la cámara frigorífica, el congelador y el almacén seco
Se pueden asignar otras tareas.
